"This tour was one of our favorite things we did on our recent trip to Iceland. The trip over to the Westman Islands was a little rougher than I expected, but the tour more than made up for that! Our guide was phenomenal - he was funny, informative, and truly has a love for his island. He took us around the island where we saw birds and volcanoes and gave us a lot of island history. He also showed off some pretty impressive spranga skills!Visited August 2015"

"We did the volcano and puffin tour. The guide ordered the sights based on the weather forecast. First stop the edge of the lava field. Next the guide stopped at the volcano museum. Excellant displays describing the 1973 eruption. On the way to the windy mountain top we watched ganets dive into the ocean like pelicans. Followed by a scenic view on a breezy hill top. Next, was the puffing breeding grounds. We were lucky and got to see many of them. Last stop the aquarium where you can hold a puffin!!"

"We only had a few days in Iceland, so decided to visit Vestmannaeyjar and see the most recent volcanic island. We booked a tour with Eyjatours online (very easy to do) and found we were the only ones on that tour, so were able to visit parts of the island that we were interested in. Our guide was very helpful, spoke perfect English, and as a local resident could give us the background to the people of the island, including how his grandfather was there when the volcano erupted in 1973. We were also able to see puffins and hold a young tame one in our hands. A great way to see the island and thoroughly recommended.Visited August 2015"

"We spent our morning on island exploring the history of the volcanic eruptions that occurred on the island, visiting the 'Pompeii of the North' museum, and the windiest place in Europe! The tour ended with the brilliant experience of meeting Toti the puffin."

"This island is amazing. Our tour guide at Eyja took us to every corner and we discovered amazing topography, half the world's puffin population and a very unique way of life. I'll never forget our visit.Visited June 2015"

"Looking a friendly and fun 2 hour tour of the Westman Islands? Then EyjaTours has you covered. My family and I scheduled this tour without any recommendations and since we had a very tight schedule due to the ferries. We were absolutely delighted with our very personable and knowledgable tour guide. EyjaTours gave us an insider's look at the island from top to bottom."

"This tour was the best of all of the booked tours during our trip to Iceland. Our guide, Auður, couldn't have been sweeter. There were things I really wanted to see, and she made sure that I got to go to those locations. She added a few things to the tour that had not been advertised and that enhanced the experience.Visited August 2015"
